About UAS Velika Gorica

The University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica is a higher education institution that performs five undergraduate bachelor study programs and three graduate study programs:
Bachelor study programs

  • Management in Crisis Situations
  • Aircraft Maintenance
  • Optometry
  • Motor Vehicle Maintenance
Graduate study programs:
  • Crisis Management
  • Logistics Management
  • Information Systems
with curricula being realized by means of advanced technologies that are continuously being updated, renewed and which facilitate easier transfer of knowledge necessary for the students, once they reach the labor market to have easier access to employment and career advancement, i.e. existence in one of today’s modern organizations
Mission
As a higher education institution, we perform undergraduate and graduate study programs and we adapt to the needs of today’s market, considering that during their studies students obtain necessary theoretical and practical knowledge that will provide them with better employment prospects on the labor market. Our goal is for the knowledge that the students get during their studies to be in accordance with the latest trends and technologies.
Vision
The vision of the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica is to be a distinguished and technologically modern educational institution with unique study programs in South-eastern Europe; to develop its own educational personnel who will provide students with highly professional specific education and life-long improvement; to integrate with the economy as an element of the education and to be a flexible educational institution prepared for constant adaptation to the needs in the economy and to help in its development.
