An interdisciplinary, integrated and international approach of safety In September 2013 the University of Antwerp will start a master's in safety science. This new master's programme is a cooperation between five university faculties. The programme is unique because of its interdisciplinary, integrated and international approach. This master's in safety science brings together several disciplines (law, economics, technology, sociology, psychology, chemistry,...) with a focus on safety. By means of discussions of complex and international cases the programme will integrate five domains of safety science (safety, security, environment, quality and public safety).
