Turība University is the largest private university in the Baltics, where knowledge goes hand in hand with practical skills. It implements more than 32 study programmes, several also available in English, and welcomes young people from more than 40 countries. The university has four faculties — Business Administration, Law, International Tourism and IT — with practical studies forming 60% of study time and lecturers who are professionals with extensive practical experience.

Organization Security Studies

Turība offers a complete academic track in organizational security: a Short-Cycle Programme ‘Organization Security’ (in Latvian; qualification: security specialist); a Bachelor Programme ‘Organization Security’ (in Latvian; qualification: Head of Security Service); and a Master Programme ‘Security Management of Organizations’ (in Latvian and English; Academic Master of Social Sciences in Personal and Property Protection), with focus areas including cybersecurity, data protection, physical security, crisis management and occupational safety.

Cooperation & exchange

Every year Turība organises at least two international intensive courses on security risk management — one BIP and one NordPlus — usually between April and August. Students and academic staff are welcome to participate. The project department initiates and implements projects in collaboration with the faculties and their experts.
